This Privacy Policy explains how MatchLume ("MatchLume", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the MatchLume mobile app and related services.

By using MatchLume, you understand that we process limited information to provide match data, AI summaries, account preferences, language settings, following lists, analytics, and service reliability.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the app, we may collect:

• Device and app information: device model, operating system, app version, language, timezone, network type, and screen size.
• Device identifier: a generated device ID used to create and restore a guest account, save preferences, and reduce duplicate accounts.
• Guest account information: username, avatar index, user ID, points, language, followed teams, and followed matches.
• Usage events: app open, page visits, feature interactions, search actions, and diagnostic events used to improve the product.
• Football preferences: teams, leagues, matches, or news items you follow or favorite.
• Optional tracking permission data: on iOS, if you grant App Tracking Transparency permission, relevant identifiers may be used for measurement and attribution.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

MatchLume does not require or intentionally collect:

• Government ID numbers or identity documents.
• Payment card, banking, deposit, withdrawal, or betting account information.
• Precise GPS location.
• Contacts, photos, messages, microphones, or personal files.
• Health, biometric, or sensitive personal records.

4. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Register and maintain a guest account.
• Display football matches, scores, text live updates, AI briefings, schedules, and team pages.
• Save language, username, avatar, and following preferences.
• Provide search, favorites, share cards, and app navigation.
• Measure app performance, attribution, reliability, and feature usage.
• Detect errors, protect service security, and prevent abuse.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

5. Third-Party Services

MatchLume may use service providers for hosting, football data, analytics, attribution, crash or reliability diagnostics, and app measurement. These providers process limited information only as needed to support the app.

The current version does not integrate in-app purchases, paid membership, Google AdMob advertising, Adjust, Firebase Cloud Messaging, or local match notification reminders.

6. Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep the app reliable, access controlled, and limited to the data needed for the service.

7. Data Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide MatchLume, maintain preferences, improve reliability, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Guest account data may remain associated with the generated device ID unless deletion is requested.

8. Your Choices

• You can change your username and language in the app.
• You can follow or unfollow teams from the app.
• You can manage iOS tracking permission in system settings.
• You may request privacy support or deletion by contacting us.

9. Children

MatchLume is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children under the minimum age required by local law. If you believe a child provided personal information, please contact us.

10. International Processing

Your information may be processed on servers or by service providers in countries or regions different from where you live. We take steps intended to protect information consistently with this Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as MatchLume changes. The updated date above shows when the document was last revised. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
